After Blotto discusses the glories of cricket with an old Etonian chum, he impulsively embarks for India, home to the finest cricket players. His smart and beautiful sister, Twinks, is going too, because the Dowager Duchess wants her married off to a massively rich Maharaja. In this characteristically wry tenth outing (after Blotto, Twinks and the Great Road Race), the siblings are on the same ship as international jewel thief Archie Montmorency, passing himself off as one of Blotto's cricketing entourage. While Blotto and Twinks each dream of matrimony, though, Archie is about to steal the diamond which adorns the turban the Maharajah of Koorbleimee.
